In the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023, Zimbabwe started off with a win. Craig Ervine’s men outplayed Zeeshan Maqsood’s Oman by 14 runs at the Queen’s Sports Club in Bulawayo on Thursday. The hosts sealed the top spot of the Super 6s table with six points and a net run rate of +0.752. They are now one step closer for making it into the main event in India.


List of players with the Most Runs and Most Wickets in ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023:


Zimbabwe’s Sean Williams is the highest run-maker in the  ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023. The left-hand batter has collected 532 runs from five matches at an average of 133 and a strike rate of 148.60. On Monday (June 26), he got his second hundred of the tournament against the USA.






West Indies’ star batter Nicholas Pooran is second on the list with 296 runs in four games at an average of 98.67 and a strike rate of 132.74. His colleague Shai Hope also made 263 runs and is on the third spot on the list while Craig Ervine with 218 runs is fourth in the list.


Talking about the wicket takers, Waning Hasaranga of Sri Lanka sealed the top spot in the leading wicket-taker list in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023.  The wrist spinner has scalped 18 wickets in 4 matches he played with the help of three five-wicket hauls under his belt.





Richard Ngarava is on the second spot with 12 scalps in five matches.  Chris Greaves is on the third place with 10 wickets in four matches while Bilal Khan of Oman scalped 10 wickets in five games.
