The West Indies cricket team is all set to host the Indian team for the upcoming series where both teams will play two Test matches and three ODIs and will finish the series with five T20Is, starting from July 12. Just ahead of the Test series, Windies have declared their 18-man squad for the preparation camp. Most of their main players are missing since they are busy taking part in the ongoing ODI World Cup Qualifiers.

The camp will start on June 30 in Antigua where Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the Windies. Names like Kemar Roach, Jermaine Blackwood, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, and Rahkeem Cornwall are there in the 18 man squad. Cricket West Indies took to their Twitter handle and announced their 18-man squad for the preparatory camp.

"CWI Men’s Selection Panel today named the 18-member squad for the preparation camp ahead of the start of the two-match Test Series against India in the Caribbean." Cricket West Indies wrote.

The BCCI, on the other hand, has already named their squad and they will be traveling to the Caribbean in the first week of July to kickstart their preparations for the Test series. The Indian squad has added a lot of new faces like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mukesh Kumar, and Ruturaj Gaikwad while regular stalwarts like Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli have also been added.
