T20 World Cup: After India thrashed Scotland in the Super 12s, Virat Kohli and co paid a surprise visit to the Scottish dressing room. It was a friendly gesture made by Virat Kohli towards Scotland, a parting team from the WC who showed resilience and class in the qualifying stages of the tournament.


The Scotland team was delighted to have the Indian team in their dressing room. Their official Twitter handle posted images from team India's visit to their dressing room.






The Scottish team did not win a single game in the Super 12s, but they were unbeaten in the qualifying rounds as they defeated Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, and Oman comprehensively. 


In the images, we see Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin in conversation with the Scottish players. 






“They are excellent ambassadors of the game. We want our guys to speak to them, be it Kohli or Williamson or Rashid Khan. That is the only and best way to learn," said Scotland captain Coetzer to ANI. 


"We are ranked 12th in the world and while some people may talk about the gulf, but I believe it is a good achievement," he added.


KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, and Ravi Jadeja powered India to a resounding 8-wicket win over minnows Scotland on Friday in the Group 2 match of Super 12 stage of ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
