Rohit Sharma-led India defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in Kanpur, clinching IND vs BAN Test series 2-0. Chasing a target of 95 runs, India achieved the goal while losing three wickets. Despite two consecutive days of rain on the second and third days of Kanpur Test, which cast doubt on the possibility of a result, hosts India secured a thumping victory.


India holds the world record for most consecutive Test series wins at home, achieving 18 victories since February 2013. Their last defeat in a home Test series occurred against England in the 2012-13 season, when they lost 1-2 under the captaincy of legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
