One of India's most successful fast bowlers, Zaheer Khan turned 41 on Monday. At a time when fans and cricketers were wishing the World Cup hero, all-rounder Hardik Pandya took to Twitter to troll the speedster by taking a cheeky dig at him.

Pandya shared a video on Twitter which showed the Indian all-rounder smashing Zaheer with full authority. "Happy birthday Zak ... Hope you smash it out of the park like I did here @ImZaheer," Pandya wrote in his post for Zaheer.

While some fans found Pandya's video funny, many criticised him for mocking the legendary India paceman.

Zaheer Khan's international career spanned over a decade. The veteran played a important in India's 2011 World Cup victory. Khan has picked 311 wickets in Test cricket and 282 wickets in his 200 ODI appearances for the national squad, at an average of 29.82. His last ODI came against Sri Lanka in 2012.

Hardik Pandya, who will be an integral part of Indian squad in next year's World T20, recently underwent a "successful" surgery to treat his lower back issue which has ruled him out of cricket for an indefinite period.
