Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has always hogged the limelight, be it on the field with his six hitting exploits to finish off games or off the field with his rather outlandish and lifestyle which a lot of attention. The flamboyant all-rounder has also garnered a lot of media interest after he and his wife Natasa Stankovic became proud parents for the very first time as they welcomed their first kid a few weeks back.


Pandya who has been regularly sharing updates about his daddy-duties on social media took to his social media handle yet again to announce the name of his baby boy who was born on July 30 . While thanking a car dealership store for sending a toy Mercedes-AMG for his baby boy, Hardik mentioned his name of his first child as well; 'Agastya'.

Pandya might have been off the field amid the Covid-19 lockdown but has been busy like a bee doing his bit of parenting duties along with his wife for the new born son.

Both Hardik and Natasa have been quite active on social media platforms following the birth of their child. On Saturday (August 15), Hardik also took to Instagram to laud his former skipper and Indian legend MS Dhoni after the news of the iconic cricketer's international retirement.

Hardik captioned his Instagram post, "There’s only one MS Dhoni. Thank you my friend and elder brother for being the biggest inspiration in my career. Will miss playing with you in the blue jersey but am sure you will always be there for me and will keep guiding me."


Pandya, who has been out of the Indian team and international action owing to him recuperating from a back injury will be raring to produce the fireworks with the bat in the upcoming season of the IPL in the UAE.
