India faced a thumping loss to Australia as Rohit Sharma & co. were humbled by 10 wickets in the second IND vs AUS Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) on December 8 (Sunday) in Adelaide. While Travis Head’s Player of the Match innings of 140 runs took the center stage, it was his heated exchange with India pacer Mohammad Siraj which has garnered just as much attention.
The incident occurred in the third innings of the match when Siraj conceded a six to Head but bowled him out on the very next delivery. The pacer celebrated the wicket with an intense gesture, which didn’t sit well with Head. The Australian batter exchanged words with Siraj, leading to an animated reaction from the bowler. The incident quickly went viral on social media.

Discussing the heated exchange before the start of Day 3, Siraj shared his side of the story about the confrontation with Head. Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, serving as a presenter for Star Sports, humorously advised Siraj, who was recently named Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana, to ‘arrest’ Head when he is in Hyderabad for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
"DSP saab, jab yeh (Head) dubara Hyderabad aye na, toh usko zara giraftaar kar lena (when he comes to Hyderabad to play in the IPL, try and arrest him)," Harbhajan jokingly said to Siraj.
"I am just joking. I wish you all the best," he added
