Once in a generation cricketer MS Dhoni kick-started his birthday celebrations by putting his might behind the first four Sri Lankan dismissals at Headingley, Saturday. The India former captain now has 96 dismissals in ODIs against Sri Lanka; the next best-placed keeper on that list is Mark Boucher with 55. Dhoni, the man who changed the face of the Indian Cricket inspires millions across the globe with an undeniable legacy in cricket. The ever humble and magnanimous ‘captain cool’ turned 38 on Sunday.


India’s most successful captain across all formats might have relieved himself off the captaincy burden, but he remains a crowd favorite even today.

Post India's win against the Lankan Lions in the ongoing tournament, Dhoni's birthday celebrations kickstarted with his wife Sakshi, daughter Ziva, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant and other friends. Sakshi Dhoni shared pictures in which Dhoni's face has been smeared with cake. In another post, Dhoni can be seen cutting cakes with Ziva.
