Warwickshire: Cricketer Hanuma Vihari has helped to set up a Covid-19 fundraiser for the parents of former Indian cricketer Sravanthi Naidu at the request of India's fielding coach R Sridhar on Twitter. Sravanthi Naidu has represented India in 4 ODIs and 6 T20Is.
The fielding coach, R Sridhar took to social media to inform about the former cricketer's parents. Tagging Virat Kohli, BCCI and Hanuma Vihari in a post, he wrote: "Former India and Hyd cricketer Sravanthi Naidu’s parents r fighting Covid19.She already spent Rs 16 lakh & is in urgent need of funds fr hospital expenses. Indian batsman, who is currently playing County Cricket in England took notice of this post and was prompt in his response. He arranged for a 'Ketto' fundraiser. (A website solely made for the purpose of crowdfunding for Covid distress)

The fundraiser managed to gather almost 19k Indian rupees till 8 pm on 18 May 2021, in 5 hours of being set up. Sravanthi Naidu was a left-arm spinner who holds the record for the best figures in WT20I cricket.
Cricketer Hanuma Vihari has actually set up a network of almost 100 people on social media to help the people and families who are suffering from Covid-19. He is currently playing County Cricket in England for Warwickshire. His network includes friends from Andhra, Telangana, and Karnataka who are helping with providing plasma and oxygen cylinders, while also arranging food and hospital beds.
Hanuma Vihari is also part of the squad that is bound to travel to England to play the World Test Championship in Southampton on 18 June 2021.
