New Zealand vs Australia 3rd T20 was underway at 11:30 am IST on Wednesday. In a move that will make all the Royal Challengers Bangalore fans happy, their new player, Glenn Maxwell is back to his original form. He scored 70 of 31 balls. After losing two consecutive matches in the series, this was a do-or-die match for Australia, so they had to step up to the occasion. And the big players step up when it matters. Australia scored a total of 208 in the first innings.
The third T20I is being played at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington. NZ won the toss and put Australia in to bat first. Australia took advantage of the situation and started attacking the NZ bowlers. As mentioned earlier, Maxwell was the top scorer for Australia, whereas Finch also played his part by scoring 69 of 44 balls. Even though NZ managed to control the run-flow in the last two overs, they couldn’t stop the Aussies score to go past 200. Neesham was the most expensive bowler, he gave away 60 runs in four overs without picking up any wicket.
