The Indian cricket team became the latest victim of the unpleasant weather conditions in England after their last fixture against New Zealand was washed out due to rain. The Men-in-Blue were brimming with confidence after securing convincing wins over South Africa and Australia in first two matches and were all set to take the revenge of their humiliating loss in the warm-up game against New Zealand; however, rain played the spoilsport.

New Zealand, India, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and South Africa have all been affected with the rain. So far, four matches have been abandoned in the ongoing World Cup.

India all-rounder Kedar Jadhav's empathetic appeal video of urging the Nottingham rains to get diverted to his home state of Maharashtra is going viral on the internet. Jadhav’s hilarious video has left the fans in splits. Apart from the fun element, many people also appreciated the all-rounder’s concern for the ongoing water crisis in his home state.

Fans across the globe are praying that the rain gods stay away from Old Trafford, when arch-rivals India and Pakistan lock horns in the high octane clash on Sunday.
