Speaking at 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his address, spoke at length about PM Modi's decision to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and criticised the government's move to put in place a communication lock down.

Cricketer-turned-politician BJP MP Gautam Gambhir took a dig at Pak PM Imran Khan over his UN speech and compared it with that of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, who did not mention about either Pakistan or the Kashmir issue in his address and promoted peace and harmony.

"The time allotted to each country is 15 minutes. What one does with it shows character and intellect. @narendramodi Ji chose to talk about peace and development while Pakistan Army's puppet threatened a nuclear war. He is the same man who claims to promote peace in Kashmir," Gambhir tweeted.

Earlier on Friday, Pakistan PM Imran Khan started his speech with talking about Islamophobia and how it is resulting into the marginalisation of Islamic countries and in turn leading to radicalisation. "Suicide attacks and Islam were equated but no one researched that before 9/11 most suicide attacks were caused by Tamil tigers but no one blamed Hinduism, quite rightly. What would Hinduism do with attacks," he said.

Hitting out at Pakistan and Imran Khan indirectly, PM Modi said India did not give war to world, but wisdom and peace. "We believe that terrorism is not a challenge for any one country, but for all countries and of mankind as a whole. So for the sake of humanity, all the world has to unite against terror," PM Modi said.
