Pakistan New Head Coach: Gary Kirsten, the former South Africa player who was the head coach of the Team India which lifted the ODI World Cup in 2011, has been roped in by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as their white-ball coach. Meanwhile, it will be the ex-Australian speedster Jason Gillespie who will be the red-ball coach of the side. Kirsten is all set to join Pakistan on May 22 in England.

It is pertinent to note that Kirsten, currently associated with the Gujarat Titans (GT) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as its mentor, last coached a national side back in 2013 when he was the head coach for South Africa for a three-year duration. Gillespie too is highly reputed for his coaching, especially his work for the Australian domestic cricket as well as the Big Bash League (BBL).
