England have announced their playing 11 for the fifth and final Test match against India set to commence in Dharamshala on March 7 (Thursday). Right-arm speedster Mark Wood has replaced Ollie Robinson in the England's starting eleven for the fixture set to get underway at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium. India have already taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series but there will be World Test Championship (WTC) points table up for grabs in India's final international assignment before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 34-year-old has featured in two Tests in the ongoing five-match series in which the speedster has managed to pick four wickets at an average of 55.50 and the Three Lions have now trusted him to deliver the goods at a venue where there is likely to be something on offer for the speedsters, especially with the new ball.
India Come Back From Behind To Take Lead In Series
In the ongoing IND vs ENG series, England won the series opener to take a 1-0 lead. However, India managed to come back from behind to go 3-1 up in the bilateral series. They first managed to level the series in Visakhapatnam before taking a lead with a victory in Rajkot. In the fourth Test match, despite losing the toss, India went on to defeat the visitors in Ranchi as the hosts bagged the series with a match to go. Meanwhile, India are yet to announce their Playing 11 for the final match of the series.
