Pakistan emerged as the Emerging Asia Cup champions recently. While Pakistan A and India A were up against each other with the Men in Blue being looked at as favourites due to their dominance in the tournament up until the summit clash and their unbeaten record, it so happened that Pakistan A ended up winning the match by a handsome margin of 128 runs. After the match, there has been a lot of discussion about the two teams.

While the Indian side was full of youngsters, Pakistan A team even had players who had played international cricket before. However, captain of that Pakistan A side Mohammad Haris has slammed those giving this rationale to undermine's Pakistan A's achievement.

"People are saying that Pakistan sent a team with many seniors. We did not ask them to send little kids to the tournament. They say that we had international experience in our team. How much international matches have we played but? Saim has played 5, I have played 6. Those guys (India players) have played 260 IPL matches)," Haris said in a video that has made its way online.

It is pertinent to note that the final wasn't the only India A vs Pakistan A face off in the tournament. The sides had met in a Group B fixture before the summit clash and on that occasions, India A had gone on to win but when it mattered the most, Pakistan A dominated India A. They first posted 352/8 in 50 overs before bowling out India A for 224. Tayyab Tahir who scored 108 off 71 was adjudged the Player of the Match in the final.
