South Zone batter Rohan Kunnummal played a fantastic knock as he smashed a century against the East Zone in the final of the Deodhar Trophy 2023 at the  Cricket Association Puducherry Siechem Ground in Puducherry. After opting to bat first, Rohan Kunnummal started with a bang in the high-pressure game. The right-hand batter played with conviction and started attacking the bowlers from the very first ball. He pressurized the East Zone bowlers and also built 181 runs partnership with skipper Mayank Agarwal who made 63.


Kunnummal ended up scoring 107 runs off 75 balls with the help of  11 fours and 4 sixes as he batted with a strike rate of 142.67 to lay a solid foundation for his team.


Though he played an outstanding knock the way he celebrated caught the attention of many as he imitated Virat Kohli’s style while celebrating his century. Talking about the skipper Mayank Agarwal, he has constantly been making headlines with his batting in the Deodhar Trophy 2023. The open batter has been batting consistently and is one of the reasons why his team won the final of the domestic tournament.






Agarwal smashed a brilliant half-century in the final, scoring  63 runs. In a total of 6 games, he gathered 341 runs with an average of 68.20 in the tournament.
