New Delhi: AB de Villiers is all set to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in the absence of injured Virat Kohli. The India skipper will be out of action ‘for a few weeks’ after suffering injury to his shoulder during the third Test match at Ranchi against Australia.
Virat was also ruled out for the final the Test match against Australia in Dharamsala and Ajinkya Rahane led India to victory by 8 wickets eventually claiming the series 2-1.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will begin their campaign on August 5 against defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad followed by their encounter against Delhi Daredevils on August 8.
