While several members from the Pakistan cricket fraternity made bizarre statements during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, a recent statement made by former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has made him the recent entry into the list. Raja, however, did not make a comment about a cricketer but made an unusual claim regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's diet. Speaking on a Pakistani news channel, Raja claimed that the Al-Nassr and Portugal superstar's diet plan is prepared by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) scientists.

"Ronaldo's ki jo diet plan hai vo NASA ke scientists set karte hain (Ronaldo's diet plan is curated by scientists at NASA)," Ramiz said on Suno News. With the video getting instantly viral on social media, the 61-year-old has been subject to a lot of trolling.

Pakistan Failed To Qualify For ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Semis

Notably, Pakistan failed to qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semifinals after which Babar Azam who was the captain of the team in the tournament resigned as the skipper of the team across formats.

Throughout the marquee event in India, some strange comments were being made by several former cricket experts with Hasan Raza alleging that India were given different balls than the other teams which allowed them to extract more swing and seam while Sikandar Bhakt seemed to suggest that India captain Rohit Sharma fixed toss.

"Can I give you a conspiracy theory? At the time of the toss, Rohit Sharma throws the coin far from the range of any opposition captain. Thus, the opposition captain cannot go and cross-check about the call," Bakht had said on Geo News.
