New Delhi: After a huge drama during coach selection process, the Supreme Court  Committee of Administrators (CoA) on Saturday formed a four-member panel consisting of Board President C K Khanna, CEO Rahul Johri, CoA member Diana Edulji and BCCI secretary Amitabh Choudhary to take final call on the support staff and then decided the remuneration for newly appointed coaches.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) also made it clear that Indian cricket team's support staff will be recruited after consultation with head coach Ravi Shastri by July 22, effectively putting on hold Zaheer Khan and Rahul Dravid's appointments.

The four-member panel will hold their first meeting on Tuesday and expected to take a call on appointment of new bowling coach on July 22 (Saturday).

Ravi Shastri’s trusted man Bharat Arun leads the race for India’s new bowling coach, he has also worked with Shastri in his stint as the Director of Indian cricket during 2014-2016.

However, it is less likely that India will travel with a batting or bowling consultant. The Indian team will travel to Sri Lanka on July 19.

India will play 3 Test matches, 5 ODI’s and one-off T20 against Sri Lanka.
