New Delhi: Chris Lynn's short-term playing future in the Indian Premier League  is under a cloud after he suffered yet another shoulder injury against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.

Running back towards the boundary, Lynn dived forward in an attempt to grab a high ball from Englishman Jos Buttler but landed awkwardly on the ground, dislocating his shoulder.

The intensity of the injury is still unknown but history of similar injuries can be a worrying factor for the Aussie and his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.

The 27-year-old explosive batsman has started IPL 10 with a bang, hitting unbeaten 93 in 41 balls in the opening encounter against Gujarat Lions and producing 32 off 24 deliveries against Mumbai Indians.

He is currently the orange cap holder with 125 runs with a strike rate of 192.3 from just two innings.
