Australian cricket legend Brett Lee enjoys a massive fan following in India. Lee has been travelling to India for over 20 years now not only for his cricketing assignments but also for his commentary and broadcast related work post his retirement from all forms of cricket. Over the years, Lee has picked up the Hindi language and fans got to see the glimpse of it in a video gone viral on social media. In the video, Lee was seen interacting with Indian-origin Australian cricketer Nikhil Chaudhary.
The Delhi-born cricketer had migrated to Australia in a bid to give an impetus to his cricket career. Currently, he is plying his trade for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League (BBL). During a match in the ongoing season of the BBL, Chaudhary who was fielding had to interact with the commentators and in a pleasant surprise Brett Lee greeted him in Hindi. At the end of the short exchange, Chaudary was left impressed and said: "Your Hindi is too good, mate."
