Twitter went frenzy after fake news started getting viral on social media on Saturday that New Zealand's skipper Brendon McCullum's brother Nathan McCullum died due to some complications in hospital.

However, Nathan McCullum himself was the first to react in order to trash the fake rumors. The 38–year-old posted a selfie on Twitter to prove that he was still alive.

Fuming younger brother Brendon McCullum promised that "Whoever put this out there, I'll find you! Somewhere, somehow".

Brendon McCullum, who is currently plying his trade in the T10 League with the Rajputs revealed that he was made aware of the news when he was on a flight back to New Zealand.
