IND vs WI, 3rd T20I: The third India vs West Indies T20I witnessed a delayed start due to a bizarre reason. While rain was prediced for this fixture at the Providence Stadium in Guyana it wasn't weather that delayed the start of the play. Umpires as well as players had even taken the field and were about to start the proceedings but had to walk off when the umpires realised that the 30-yard circle wasn't drawn. Even though the match was delayed only by a few minutes, this was one of the most bizarre reasons for a delay in the start of an international cricket match.

It is pertinent to note that West Indies are 2-0 ahead in the five-match series which makes this match a must-win one for India to remain alive in this bilateral cricket competition. Meanwhile, both sides have made changes in their respective playing 11s for this match. While the home team was forced to make a change with Jason Holder out due to a niggle and Roston Chase replacing him, the Hardik Pandya-led Indian team also made a couple of changes with Kuldeep Yadav coming in place of Ravi Bishnoi and Yashasvi Jaiswal making his debut in the shortest format. Jaiswal replaced Ishan Kishan in the side.

West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first which has been the trend in the series so far. While the hosts had opted to bat first in the series opener and won the match, in the second match it was India who chose to bat but still West Indies managed to be on the winning side. Nicholas Pooran has been the man in form for West Indies while India's Tilak Varma has been their best performer in the series so far but they would want other batters to step up with the series on the line.
