Suryakumar Yadav is one of the finest batters of modern-day cricket. Because of his extraordinary stroke play, people call him as India’s Mr 360. The 32-year-old is in the headlines as he was spotted playing gully cricket in Mumbai. In the video uploaded on Twitter, Surya was seen playing a special supla shot.
"Surya Bhau spotted playing gully cricket in Mumbai," a Twitter page named Mumbai Indians One family captioned the post. Surya also shared the short clip on his Instagram story and wrote, "Bhai log ki demand SUPLA shot (Supla Shot, on-demand from my brothers)."
After the video was posted on social media, it went viral. On Twitter, it has gathered hundreds of likes and comments while on Instagram it has garnered more than 1,200 likes and over 22,000 views.
Surya is currently taking part in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia. After making his international debut in 2021, the Mumbai-based batter has been constantly making headlines with his hitting ability. In 2022, he came the first Indian batsman to get 1000 runs in a calendar year in T20Is.
As a result, Surya made it into the Indian test squad. The stylish batter even got a chance in playing XI in the first Test vs Australia in Nagpur. But unfortunately, he could not make it count as he only scored 8 runs. India’s Mr 360 also became the first player to debut for India in all three formats after the age of 30 or more.
Earlier, Yadav went to Tirupati after making his Test debut along with his wife. He visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple and sought blessings. Surya will be playing in IPL 2023 for Mumbai Indians starting next month. Mumbai Indians will start their campaign by playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first match.
