We Are Back with the run chase. Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique the Pakistan openers out in the middle. Mitchell Starc with the new ball for Australia.
Australia End With 367/9. With no context, this looks a strong total but given that they were 259/0 in the 34th over, they should have ideally got more. Centuries from David Warner and Mitchell Marsh but a fifer from Shaheen Shah Afridi means a fightback from Pakistan. Interesting run chase coming up in Bengaluru.
Instead It's A Strong Finish From Pakistan. It is indeed as Shaheen Shah Afridi, bowling the final over of the innings, picks up another wicket to reduce Australia from 259/0 to 363/9. He has picked a fifer in Bengaluru. Would you believe it? Two in two in the 50th over.
Australia haven't been able to finish as strongly as they started. Stoinis and Marnus Labuschagne both back in the pavilion. AUS- 360/7 after 48.3 Overs.
Just 2 runs and a wicket from the 45th over. Pakistan giving themselves and outside chance. AUS- 340/5 after 45 overs.

David Warner departs but only after he has scored 163 off 124 balls. Rauf, who did not have a good day on the field, up until this point, gets the wicket. AUS- 325/4 after 42.2 Overs.
Usama Mir gets a wicket. He removes Steve Smith out caught and bowled. AUS- 284/3 after 38.1 Overs.
Smith and Warner out in the middle at the moment.
Two wickets in two balls. Pakistan waited so long for the first wicket and now they have two in two. Maxwell departs for a golden duck. He has skied that one up first ball. 14 came off that over but brought two wickets. AUS- 259/2 after 34 overs.
And he does. Afridi does get the wicket. Marsh departs for 121 as Pakistan finally hold on to a catch.
Shaheen Afridi. Can he break this partnership which is breaking records for fun.
19 Runs off the Usama Mir Over now. Pakistan are dropping catches and Australia are making them pay. Abdullah Shafique now drops Warner. 4,6,4, 4 in this over from Mir. AUS- 245/0 after 33 overs. 19 runs coming off it.
Just a reminder to everyone following this blog, Warner was put down when he was batting on 10. He has made them pay. This is his fourth successive hundred against Pakistan.
Time For Mitchell Marsh to raise his bat and soak in the applause as he gets to a hundred with the help of a boundary.
David Warner get to a hundred with a single. This has been a fine innings from the left-hander. He has looked in vintage form this afternoon.
Still no wicket for Pakistan and the Aussie openers are marching along nicely. Is this a cricket match or what? Australian openers toying with the Pakistan bowling as of now. Both Warner, Marsh in their 90s. END OF OVER 30. Australia- 208/0. Mitchell Marsh- 96* off 98, David Warner- 99* off 82.
Babar Azam has used six bowling option so far. None of them have helped him get a breakthrough as yet. Nawaz the last of the six bowlers into the attack for now.
Pakistan wondering where will the breakthrough come from. It has been clean hitting by both the Australian openers. END OF OVER 22- AUS-162/0.
150 up for Australia. Pakistan looking clueless and toothless at this batters' paradise in Bengaluru and against two batters in great nick.
Some opening stand this has been. Marsh too gets to his fifty off 40 balls. What a time to be covering the game.
13 Overs gone. AUS- 103/0.
Half-century comes up for David Warner. What a fine innings this has been to put Australia in a position of dominance. He has reached the milestone of 39 balls.
Rauf comes on from the other end. AUS- 88/0 after 11 overs.
Rauf taken off the attack immediately after that run feast from Australia. Time for Usama Mir to try and break this partnership.
Australia have upped the ante here in Bengaluru. After 24 runs off the previous Rauf over, they get 15 runs off the next over from
Iftikhar. A Warner six started it and a couple of boundaries from Marsh followed. Some attacking display this by the Kangaroos. AUS- 82/0 after 10 overs.
It's a FOUR in the backward point region to welcome him followed by a massivs SIX this time in the square leg region. Australia get some serious move on as they bring up the 50 in this over. Marsh then ends the four with FOUR, FOUR, FOUR! One down the ground, two on the off side. Australia score 24 runs off the over. AUS-67/0 after 9 overs.
It's A double change for Pakistan now as Haris Rauf comes in to bowl from the other end.
Iftikhar Ahmed comes In first change for Pakistan and he starts with a 6-run over. Warner once again manages to find the boundary through the point region. AUS- 43/0 after 8 overs.
Excellent cricket this. First a 10-run over but Shaheen Shah Afridi from the other end has delivered a maiden. Marsh the batter on the receiving end who couldn't find a way to score a run off that over. AUS- 37/0 after 7 overs.
Meanwhile, Australia fetch 10 runs off the sixth over which was being bowled by Hasan Ali. Warner with a beautiful boundary through cover and point. AUS- 37/0 after 6 overs.
To put this game into some conext, Pakistan have played three lost one so far but their wins have come against Netherlands and Sri Lanka. The only time they were up against a strong title contender- India- they were taken to the cleaners and lost the match by 7 wickets and close to 20 overs remaining. Similarly, Australia have faced defeats to India and South Africa before winning against Sri Lanka. So the 2 points on offer in this match become extremely crucial for both these teams.
Story of the match so far. Pakistan won the toss, elected to field first at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, Australia's opening batters Mitchell Marsh and David Warner have looked in good nick and they have taken the Aussies to a score of 27/0 after 5 overs. Mitchell Marsh- 14* off 16, David Warner- 11* off 14. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali are the Pakistani new-ball bowlers who have been used so far.
