Asia Cup 2023 Complete squads list: The much-awaited 16th edition of Asia Cup 2023, co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, will be played this year in a 50-over format. The six-team continental tournament features India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal. The tournament begins on August 30 and ends on September 17. As announced by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), nine matches of Asia Cup 2023 will be hosted by Sri Lanka, while the remaining four games will be hosted by Pakistan. This is the first time that the Asia Cup will be hosted by more than one country. The Board of Control for Cricket in India had expressed security concerns over travelling to Pakistan for the tournament after which Sri Lanka and Pakistan were announced as the co-hosts.


Talking about the format for Asia Cup 2023 this year, the six teams have been divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. Pakistan, India and Nepal forms Group A and Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh forms Group B. Top two teams from both groups will make it to Super Four and the teams from here will qualify for the final in Sri Lanka's Colombo on September 17.
