Records and India batsman Virat Kohli go hand in hand. He added another feather to his cap after becoming the first Indian to complete 250 million followers on his official Instagram handle and overall third athlete after soccer legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, on Wednesday. He also became the first Asian to attain this milestone. The Delhi-based batter has the largest fan base amongst Indian celebrities and it is reflected through his social media handles, with the former India skipper breaking records here as well.

Talking about his international career, he has the highest number of runs in the shortest format (4003) and is the quickest batter to reach 12,000 runs (242 innings.

The modern-day legend was last seen in action in the ongoing IPL 2023 but then his team RCB got eliminated after the conclusion of the league stage. He has a terrific outing with the bat in the current season of the cash-rich league as he amassed 639 runs in 14 matches with an average of 53.25, including 6 fifties and two centuries.

Ahead of him is the WTC final in which the Indian team will be locking horns against Australia at the Oval, starting from the 7th of June.  All eyes will be on Kohli as he will look to continue his IPL 2023 form in the WTC final. The former India skipper is among the first batch of players who left for England for their preparation of the high-profile clash. Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj also joined the star batter.
