New Delhi: With Champions trophy done and dusted, the Virat Kohli versus Anil Kumble saga has a new twist as it is now reported that Anil Kumble will not be travelling with the Indian team for the West Indies.
The Indian coach was expected to travel with the team on Tuesday but the management was informed about his absence after the team arrived at the London airport.
Kumble has cited a reason that he will be attending ICC cricket committee which is scheduled on June 22 and 23.
However, his exit from the Caribbean tour opens up a new room for another dram on the selection of Indian coach.
India will Play 5 ODI's and 1 T20 against West Indies from June 23.
