Former India captain Anil Kumble reached Lucknow on Sunday (January 21) ahead of the Ram Mandir 'Pran Prathistha' ceremony on Monday. The legendary leg-spinner is set to attend the much-anticipated inauguration and temple consecration scheduled on January 22. While Kumble was spotted at the Lucknow airport on Sunday afternoon and is likely to be reach Ayodhya later on Sunday, ex-India pacer Venkatesh Prasad has already reached Ayodhya.






Prasad took to X to share a picture and a video from the city which is all in readiness to host the grand event. "Jai Shree Ram. What a moment. All in readiness to witness an event of a lifetime. One of our most significant days. Whole of Ayodhya and the majority of our nation pulsating with joy. Ayodhyapati Shree Ramchandra ji ki Jai," Prasad's post on X read.

Kohli, Tendulkar Among Cricketers Set To Attend Ayodhya Ram Mandir 'Pran Prathistha'

Meanwhile, the high-profile event is set to witness several members of the cricket community in attendance. While Virat Kohli's request for permission to be part of the event in Ayodhya was given a nod by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), former India cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Kapil Dev and Mithali Raj among others  are also lilkely to grace the occasion.

The Ram temple consercation will get underway at 12:20 pm (IST) and is likely to conclude by 1 pm on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the event and address a gathering of over 6000 people which include prominent guests from all spheres.
