IND vs NZ Test series: The Indian cricket team recently triumphed over Bangladesh with a 2-0 win in IND vs BAN two-match Test series. Next on the list is a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-Test series against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, team India's standout fast bowler Akash Deep, who played an important role in India's success during Bangladesh Tests, visited Ram temple in Ayodhya to seek blessings.

The 27-year-old prayed for India's success in the upcoming Test series against New Zealand. He posted a picture from the courtyard of Ram Mandir on social media, captioning it with "Jai Shri Ram." Akash Deep's post has since gone viral on social media.

Akash made his international debut in the Test series against England earlier this year. His efforts in that series earned him a place in playing XI for both Tests in the recent series against Bangladesh, where he continued to impress.
In total, Akash took 5 wickets across the two IND vs BAN Test matches, bringing his overall tally to 8 wickets in 3 Test appearances for team India, so far.
Based on Akash Deep's impressive performance in Bangladesh Tests, he may be considered for the upcoming IND vs NZ Tests and eventually IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar Test series.
His chances of selection in India's tour of Australia would increase if veteran pacer Mohammed Shami does not fully recover from his injury. Even if Shami regains fitness in time, Akash Deep could still earn a spot as the fourth fast bowler alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
