Pakistan cricket team were handed a 0-3 whitewash by the Sri Lankan team in recently-concluded T20 international series. The visiting Sri Lankan team had many big names missing from their touring squad but still they managed to defeat Pakistan – number one ranked side in T20Is - on their home soil.

Criticising Pakistan’s dismal performance, former Pakistan skipper Aamir Sohail took a cheeky dig at the new fitness regime, introduced by newly-appointed coach Misbah-ul-Haq.

"In Pakistan cricket these days we are concentrating more on fitness and it appears that we are preparing our players less for cricket and more for the Olympics or WWE Wrestling," Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq quoted Sohail as saying.

Taking note of the deteriorating fitness standards of Pakistan players, head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq had changed the diet and nutrition plans for players in the domestic tournaments and national camp by barring Biryani and other unhealthy stuff.

The 43-year-old had said that Pakistan players will not be having biryani or oil-rich red meat meals or sweet dishes.
