It is being hailed as the best by any bowler in the shortest format for Hampshire, with Afridi ending the match with figures of 6/19. When the fast blower started the 18th over of the match, the other team had to garner 23 to win from 18 balls with four wickets in hand.
The first two balls from Afridi led them make runs after which there were a series of yorkers, all of which hit the stumps behind the batsmen facing them. The 20-year-old took wickets of John Simpson, who was on 48, Steven Finn, Thilan Walallawita and Tim Murtagh with the consecutive deliveries to achieve the rare feat.
So far, Afridi has played 11 Tests, 19 ODIs and 15 T20Is for Pakistan and has taken 35, 40 and 18 wickets in the three formats respectively.

Middlesex had a target of 142 after Hampshire have scored 141/9 in 20 overs. The former lost wickets to Afridi and eventually were all out for 121 in the 20th over. Moreover, it was first win of the season for Hampshire.
Afridi has now joined the ranks of known bowlers such as Lasith Malinga and Afghan sensation Rashid Khan, who have claimed four wickets in as many deliveries in T20 cricket. Malinga achieved the feat against New Zealand while Rashid Khan achieved the feat against Ireland.
