New Delhi: Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj faced a tricky situation when the social media accounts of the bowling sensation got hacked on Tuesday.

A 14-year-old boy said to be fan of the fast bowler allegedly hacked into Siraj’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

The incident came into the fore when pacer’s friends contacted him about the ‘I Love You’ messages sent from his social media account.

Siraj then approached Cyber Crime Cell of Telangana police to lodge a complaint about the incident. Police immediately swung into action and traced the teenage hacker within couple of hours.

The hacker turned out to be familiar to the cricketer’s family. The boy from Begumpet, who is the son of a watchman, had not done much mischief before getting caught.

After the incident was resolved Siraj took on the social media and thanked Telangana police for their swift effort.
