New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders in association with Meer Foundation has decided to give 50 thousand PPEs to West Bengal and Maharashtra Govt in fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A statement from Knight Riders described the doctors and medical workers as the real heroes and emphasised their safety and security in the time of this crisis. This is the reason they have decided to contribute this PPE s to WB and Maharashtra Govt.


Apart from this KKR has committed to contribute for PM Cares fund. Red chillies , another organisation which is closely associated with KKR had committed to contribute to the Maharashtra Chief Minister's relief fund and along with a couple of NGO s they are working everyday to feed the the needy people who live on the streets in Mumbai and daily wage labourers of the city .



Shahrukh Khan states, " Given the enormity of the task my team and I discussed ways to contribute in our own modest way . We have come up with a series of initiatives which we hope will make a small difference" . SRK praised the efforts of the Prime Minister along with the heads of different states .
