Pakistan's maverick all-rounder Shahid Afridi is sparring no efforts to help out the poor and needy citizens of his motherland amid the coronavirus pandemic which has wrecked havoc all across the sub continent region and the world.


In yet another noble gesture which cuts across religion, 'Boom Boom' Afridi held a ration drive for the struggling minorities in his country. He donated essential supplies to Hindu and Christian communities in need at a time where Pakistan battles the COVID-19 pandemic at neck break speed.


Shahid Afridi has been pretty active on the ground helping out the bottom strata and economically weakers sections of the society in the country to help them fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19). Through the Shahid Afridi Foundation, the iconic Pakistani all-rounder has raised funds and delivered essential supplies to over 2000 families.

On Tuesday, Afridi took to social media and claimed to have held a ration drive specifically for the struggling Hindu and Christian minorities in the country.

Through his foundation, Afridi has been running 'Donate Karo Na' campaign, urging fellow cricketers to donate and help his cause in holding more drives for the poor at a time where the country has seen over 1000 cases of the global pandemic.

Having helped numerous poor people over the days, on Tuesday, Afridi did a special donation drive for the struggling minorities and distributed ration among Hindus and Christians.
