New Delhi: A Conflict of Interest complaint has been filed against Indian captain Virat Kohli and the matter will be probed by BCCI.

Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Member Sanjeev Gupta wrote an email to the Board of Ethics Officer Justice DK Jain stating that clause 38 (4) under BCCI rules has been violated.

ABP News has accessed a copy of this email and its stated that Virat is holding two posts simultaneously. While he is the captain of the Indian cricket team, he is the director in a sports marketing company that also manages some players of the Indian team.

These are violations of the BCCI rules and hence he should resign from the post.

The copy of this email has also been sent to all higher officials of the board, including Board President Sourav Ganguly.

When ABP News spoke to Sanjeev Gupta about his complaint, he said that "my email is my statement and I would not like to comment on it any further."

So far, BCCI has not responded to the matter.
