Cricket Australia on Thursday announced the white ball squads (ODI and T20I) for the national team's upcoming bilateral series on their home soil against India starting next month. It is notable that Cricket Australia named a single squad for both the ODI and T20Is.

Batting all-rounder Cameron Green has received his maiden international call up while seasoned seam all-rounder Moises Henriques has been recalled back to the national team.

Aaron Finch will resume his role as the Australian skipper for both the one day internationals and T20Is. Meanwhile pace spearhead Pat Cummins will be Finch's second in command as the vice captain of the team against Virat Kohli and his 'Men in Blue'

Seam all-rounder Mitchell Marsh who sustained an injury while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing thirteenth edition of the IPL has not been named in either of the squads.

Henriques has been called back to the the national side after a gap of almost 3 years. The New South Wales has been preferred to Mitchell Marsh, who is expected to come back from injury via the Australia A pathway ahead of the four-test series starting in Adelaide on Dec. 17.

While the batting armoury comprises of David Warner, Aaron Finch, Marnus Labuschagne, Glen Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis, the bowling arsenal comprises of a potent seam battery in Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Kane Richarson.

Uncapped all-rounder Daniel Sams has been retained in the white-ball squad that toured England, but Tasmania paceman Riley Meredith has been omitted.

"Cameron's domestic form has been outstanding and he has carried it through for Western Australia this summer," selectors chairman Trevor Hohns said in a media release on Thursday.

"As a potential player of the future this is an opportunity for him to be part of the squad and build on his experience."
