Arsenal will be facing off against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday in Wanda Metropolitano.

Left-back Filipe Luis joined the training session, having made a full recovery from a fractured fibula bone he was dealt on March 15 in the Europa League round of 16 clash with Lokomotiv Moscow.

"Filipe Luis is back! He began training with the group on April 28 before our La Liga match against Alaves and has now been given medical clearance," the club released a statement on Wednesday.

Arsenal, on the other hand, were re-joined by Henrikh Mkhitaryan but will be without Mohammed Elneny and even Alex Iwobi was doubtful.

Arsenal will be well aware of the threat that Diego Costa possesses while Atletico will try to neutralize the threat that Arsenal produce through Lacazette and Welbeck.

Arsenal hosted the Roji Blancos on 26th April in the Emirates. The match was full of drama as in the first 10 minutes Atletico saw their right-back Sime Vrsaljko being sent-off. Simeone was furious with the decision and was sent to the stands in the 13th match.

The gunners looked threatening and in the 62nd minute, striker Alexander Lacazette scored a goal assisted by Jack Wilshere. The Gunners created more and more chances but just failed to score another goal.

A mistake from talismanic defender Laurent Koscielny gave the opportunity to Atletico to get back into the game. Griezmann capitalized on this mistake and this gave Atletico the equalizer and also an important away goal in the 82nd minute.

Both the clubs have been impressive in the Europa league and will make sure that they do their best to go through to the finals of the competition.
