NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has spotted Japan's Smart Lander for Investigating Moon (SLIM) on the lunar surface. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA's) Moon lander soft-landed on the lunar surface on January 19, 2024, and five days later, the LRO passed over the landing site and captured a picture of SLIM.
