Europa's 'Golden Record': NASA's 'Message In A Bottle' Will Fly A Poem, Human Voices To Jupiter's Icy Moon

Europa's 'Golden Record' will carry waveforms of audio recordings of the word 'water' spoken in 103 languages. The Drake Equation, a special mathematical formulation, is also etched on the plate.

Europa's 'Golden Record' is similar to the Voyager Golden Records, because the 'Message In A Bottle' artefact will carry an engraving of a handwritten poem, and a silicon microchip stencilled with over 2.6 million names submitted by the public.
