  • The benefits of bathing on Kartik Purnima will be received only if it is done during the auspicious time. It is important to bathe in a sacred river before sunrise on this day. If river bathing is not possible, you can also bathe by adding a few drops of Ganga water to your bathing water.

  • During the bath on Kartik Purnima, remember the sacred pilgrimage sites, and after the bath, first offer water, Arghya to the Sun.

  • After offering Arghya to the Sun, before consuming food or water, donate fruits, sesame, grains, clothes, and other essentials to those in need.

  • On Kartik Purnima, in the evening, make sure to perform Deepdan by the river, pond, temple, courtyard, balcony, or under the open sky.
