Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji's father Ram Mukherjee passed away at 5am earlier today at his residence. He was 84.

Rani Mukerji too was snapped during the funeral.

Ram Mukerji, respected filmmaker, beloved father and husband, is no more. He passed away on October 22 at 6 am due to natural causes. Close friends and family attended his quiet funeral at 2 pm this afternoon, an official statement by Yashraj films stated

Rani Mukerji was said to be extremely close to her father and was even launched by him in the Bengali film industry
