Bhagyashree, who never fails to visit Sangli to be part of her royal Ganpati festivities, shared with TOI, “The Royal Ganesh Visarjan of Maharaja Vijaysingh Patwardhan of Sangli is a glorious spectacle to behold with a procession including dancers, lehjim, posse of armed forces, constabulary , cavalry ,elephant and camels. Women run ahead of the procession, drawing rangoli, for over two-and-a-half miles.
