Telangana CM KCR Inspects Ongoing Works At Yadadri Power Plant - See Pics
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday inspected the Yadadri Ultra Mega Thermal Power project which is under construction near Veerlapalem of Nalgonda district.

View In AppCM KCR enquired about the daily requirement of coal and water supply to the power plant. The chief minister suggested that arrangements should be made to supply Krishna water for the water needs of the project.
The chief minister directed to make arrangements for electricity connectivity from the Yadadri plant to all areas including Hyderabad.
CM KCR directed energy minister Jagadish Reddy, Transco and Genco Chairman and Managing Director Prabhakar Rao and BHEL officials to complete the project at the earliest.
KCR said that the Damaracharla area has been selected for the power plant to employ the people of the erstwhile Nalgonda district. He ordered the construction of a township for about 10,000 employees working in the power plant.
