Legend Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut in MI vs KKR IPL 2023 match, two years after he was first signed by Mumbai in IPL 2021 auction.

Arjun Tendulkar is part of Mumbai Indians - the franchise his father Sachin played for his entire IPL career before retirement.

Arjun, who made his IPL debut for MI today, registered a unique record, with him and Sachin now the only father-son duo to play for the same team in IPL history.

Notably, Rohit Sharma isn't playing MI's IPL 2023 match vs KKR today due to an illness. Suryakumar Yadav is leading the team in his absence.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited Kolkata Knight Riders to bat first.

Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals in their last IPL 2023 fixture. In contrast, Kolkata suffered a defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last match.
