India batting star Virat Kohli, on Day 3 of 4th Test, scored his career's 26th fifty in Test cricket.

View In AppWith this, Virat completed his 4,000 runs for India in Tests, becoming only the fifth Indian batsman to do so. Kohli achieved this feat in the 77th innings of his 50th Test.
Virat Kohli is now the third fastest Indian to score 4,000 Test runs at home, surpassing Rahul Dravid (88) and legendary Sunil Gavaskar (87).
Sachin Tendulkar (7,216) holds the record for scoring most runs in India in Tests. Rahul Dravid (5,598), Sunil Gavaskar (5,067) and Virender Sehwag (4,656) have also scored 4,000 or more runs in India in Tests.
Kohli, while batting in India, scored runs at an average of 598.82 with help of 13 tons and 13 fifties. Virat's average is best among Indian batters who have scored over 4000 Test runs in India.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag is the fastest Indian batter to reach 4000 Tests in India in just 71 innings. Sachin Tendulkar (78 innings) is at No. 2 position.
