Mohammed Shami breaks his personal record: Senior pacer Shami bagged two wickets for 134 runs in 31 overs in 4th Test. This is the first time since August 2014 that Shami has bowled so many overs. In August 2014, Shami had bowled 28 overs during a Test match.
Cameron Green and opener Usman Khawaja stitched a solid 208-run partnership for 5th wicket, setting the record for Australia's second-highest partnership in Tests on Indian soil.
Usman Khawaja (180 runs) surpassed Steve Smith (178 runs) as he scored the third highest score by an Australian batsman in India.
R Ashwin, who picked a 6-fer on Day 2 of IND-AUS 4th Test, broke Anil Kumble's big record as he became India's highest wicket-taker against Australia in Border Gavaskar Trophy's history.
