West Indies announce squad for India series

West Indies are currently ranked ninth in the ICC table and they would need a miracle to topple a formidable Indian side which is coming on the back of a good Champions Trophy campaign.

Jonathan Carter and Evin Lewis will open the batting.

All-rounders Roston Chase and Rovman Powell have now become pillars in the West Indies limited overs team.

Kesrick Williams, Alzzari Joseph and Migguel Cummins are the fast bowlers in the side.

Kieron Powell and Jason Mohammed will play key roles in the fragile batting line up.

The team doesn’t have the likes of Gayle, Pollard, Narine or even the Bravo brothers.

West Indies have announced a 13-man squad for the first 2 ODIs against India, slated to begin from June 23.
