Umesh Yadav visited Dhoni's hometown, Ranchi, to participate in a Ranji Trophy 2023-24 match, representing Vidarbha against the Jharkhand team.

Vidarbha secured an impressive 309-run victory over the home team on January 29 (Monday), courtesy of a stellar performance from both the batting and bowling units.

Umesh Yadav played a crucial role in the team's victory by taking two wickets in the first innings and an impressive four wickets in the second innings.
