Sunil Joshi appointed Bangladesh’s spin consultant

Bangladesh have played Australia in Test cricket on four occasions and eventually losing in all of them.

The Tigers, in an attempt to improve their spin attack, have hired former India spinner Sunil Joshi as spin consultant.

This will be Joshi’s second stint as coach, following a successful tenure with Oman during Asia Cup and World T20 in India.

Joshi was earlier linked with the Bangladesh during the one-off test match against India in Hyderabad in February.

The BCB had contacted former Australian spinner Stuart Macgill for the job but after his refusal they immediately turned to Joshi.

Bangladesh are set to play two-match Test series against Australia, which begins on August 27.
